The Africa Subcommittee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences was reconstituted on 13 May 2021. The main tasks of the Subcommittee are:
to bring together Hungarian research on Africa in various educational and research institutions in the country,
to publish and discuss research results, and to organise conferences and scientific events,
to promote discourse between Africanists, governmental and civil actors, to link research and practice, and
raising the international profile of Hungarian African Studies.
